The paper import form

To get ready for Brexit, the UK needed a replacement for the TRACES import control system. This was to cover the eventuality that the UK could not access the TRACES system after exit from the EU.

A key component of this was CVED-P part 3 “Record control”.

The UK imports trust model

The UK imports produce on the basis of a trust model.

How the produce is certified depends on the level of trust.

We created the following diagram to confirm our understanding with the client:
